Privacy Policy for Smart Access for OneDrive

Effective Date: July 3, 2026
Contact: contact@atvra.com

Thank you for choosing Smart Access for OneDrive, developed by Atvra Ltd. ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to atvra.com (the "Website") and Smart Access for OneDrive (the "App") (collectively, the "Service"). We want to clarify that the App does not directly gather personal information from its users.

However, Microsoft services integrated with the Service may collect data according to their own privacy practices.

By using the Service, you acknowledge the information practices described in this policy. For questions, please contact us at contact@atvra.com.

Information Collection and Use

The App itself does not collect, store, or share any personal information of its users.

However, the App uses Microsoft sign-in and Microsoft Graph to provide certain functionalities. While the App does not directly collect personal information through these services, Microsoft may collect information according to its own privacy practices.

Users are encouraged to review the Microsoft Privacy Statement to understand how Microsoft collects and uses information within its own services.

Data Protection Mechanisms

The Service is designed so that its core OneDrive workflows run locally on your device. This approach ensures a high level of security and privacy for your sensitive information, especially those accessed through Microsoft services.

Data Security: Microsoft sign-in and Microsoft Graph API requests are transmitted using encrypted connections. The Service processes your data directly on your device without collecting or storing any personal information, leveraging your device's existing security features. Though we do not store your data, we advise keeping your device's software updated and using reputable security software for enhanced protection.

User Control: You have full control over your data processed by the Service, with the ability to manage, delete, or restrict access directly from your device.

Use of Microsoft User Data

The Service requests access to Microsoft user data only after you explicitly grant permission through Microsoft's authorization flow. We use Microsoft user data only to provide user-facing features that are available through the Service.

Microsoft user data received by the Service is used only to:

  • Identify and manage the Microsoft account you connected.
  • Display and organize OneDrive files and folders you choose to work with.
  • Preview, rename, move, share, open, and download files when you request those actions.

Consent and Revocation: Users are prompted to grant consent for data access through Microsoft's authorization flow, with clear information about the specific permissions being requested. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through the permissions and account controls provided by Microsoft or by removing the connected account from the Service.

No Unauthorized Sharing: Data accessed from Microsoft is not shared by the Service with third parties and is used only to provide the features you request through the App.

The use of information received through Microsoft APIs is subject to the Microsoft APIs Terms of Use.

If you use a work or school account, your organization's Microsoft configuration may affect what the App can access.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service providers the Service uses are Microsoft, for Microsoft sign-in and OneDrive integration, and Apple, for Mac App Store distribution.

These services may collect and process information according to their own terms, privacy policies, and account controls. Atvra does not control how those third parties process information within their own services.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, the Service does not hold data that would enable us to directly address individual data subject rights under the GDPR or other privacy laws. For inquiries or requests about your data collected by Microsoft services, please refer to the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Microsoft's support resources.

Website Information Collection Practices

The Website is informational only. You cannot sign in, connect a Microsoft account, or run OneDrive workflows through the Website itself.

Website Analytics: The Website uses a limited self-hosted analytics script to send a basic ping for website activity, such as page views and download clicks. IP addresses are anonymized promptly, and this website analytics is separate from Microsoft APIs and is not used to access, collect, or share Microsoft user data.

Website Visitors: For visitors to the Website, we do not collect personal information unless it is voluntarily provided, for example by contacting us by email. Any information provided in such a manner will be used solely for the purpose stated at the point of collection, such as responding to your query.

Third-Party Links: The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites, and users should review the privacy policies of any sites they choose to visit.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
